Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Pays Tribute to Her Haryana Roots, Thanks People for Love and Blessings

Haryana/New Delhi: During an emotional address to the media in Haryana, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta paid heartfelt tribute to her birthplace, calling the day “extraordinary and personally significant.”

“Haryana is my Janmabhoomi (birthplace), and Delhi is my Karmabhoomi (land of action),” said Gupta, adding that her visit today was deeply personal. “I felt an inner urge to come and bow to the land of my birth,” she shared.

She expressed special thanks to Naib Singh Saini, whom she referred to as her respected brother, along with the entire Haryana community, saying they had showered her with love and blessings.

“I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for the affection shown to me by my Haryana family,” she said, concluding her statement with folded hands.

Gupta’s remarks underline her enduring emotional and cultural ties to the state, even as she serves in the national capital.
