New Delhi: A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly threatening Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, according to police reports.
Identified as Shlok Tiwari, the suspect is believed to be a con artist who frequently changes his identity to evade law enforcement.
The Delhi Police apprehended Tiwari and are currently conducting an interrogation at the Special Cell’s office in northwest Delhi, an official confirmed.

The threat was made via the emergency helpline 112 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, during the early hours of Friday. Following the report, the Ghaziabad police promptly alerted their Delhi counterparts and dispatched a team to Panchwati Colony, the location from which the call originated. However, the caller managed to evade capture at that time, as noted by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ritesh Tripathi from Ghaziabad.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter to ensure the safety of public officials and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
