New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of Delhi announced on Wednesday that the national capital is experiencing a significant revival in governance and development under her leadership, as she celebrated the completion of 100 days of what she termed a “government that works for the people.”
Speaking at a felicitation ceremony hosted by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce at Delhi University, Gupta expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the citizens for their unwavering support and trust in the new administration.
“Delhi now has a government that prioritizes the needs of its people. I extend my sincere thanks to the residents of our city for electing us,” she stated. Gupta emphasized, “With your faith and our dedicated efforts, we have successfully addressed numerous challenges over the past 100 days. Projects and initiatives that had previously stalled are now being actively implemented.” She attributed this positive transformation to the collaborative efforts between the central and state governments, noting, “Delhi is reaping the benefits of a double-engine government. Central government schemes that were once delayed or overlooked are now reaching the citizens.”

In addition, Gupta announced that her administration will unveil a comprehensive report card detailing its first 100 days in office on May 31 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, which will highlight key initiatives and progress made during this period.
She was joined at the event by Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who also addressed the audience.
Taking a pointed jab at the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Sirsa remarked, “In just 100 days, we have accomplished what they failed to achieve in a decade. The victims of the 1984 riots, who have waited for decades for justice and support, have now received job opportunities within the first 100 days of our administration.” This felicitation program precedes the government’s official 100-day review, which is anticipated to showcase significant reforms across education, infrastructure, health, and employment
