New Delhi, July 20: The National Testing Agency (NTA) and Delhi Police on Monday denied reports circulating on social media that protesters had breached security and entered the NTA office in Okhla, describing the claims as false and baseless.
In a media clarification, authorities said the situation at the NTA office remained normal and peaceful and that no security breach had taken place.
According to the clarification, a small group of candidates who had raised concerns over alleged discrepancies in their examination results visited the NTA office. Five to seven aspirants, accompanied by their parents, were allowed to meet NTA officials in an orderly manner to present their grievances.
Authorities said adequate police arrangements are in place at the office and that the situation is fully under control.
The NTA and Delhi Police appealed to the media and the public not to rely on unverified or misleading reports and to refer only to official communications for information related to the matter.
