New Delhi: The New Delhi Municipal Council said it has been recognised as the Best Performing City at the state level in Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan 2026.
In a post on X, NDMC attributed the recognition to measures including mechanised road sweeping, pressure jetting of footpaths, water sprinkling and the deployment of anti-smog guns.
The civic body also cited greening and plantation work, prevention of biomass burning, municipal solid-waste management and awareness activities conducted with resident welfare associations and market associations.
