Dwarka Road 224 Carriageway Closed for About 15 Days; Diversion via Road 210

New Delhi: A carriageway on Road No. 224 in Sector 20, Dwarka, will remain closed for approximately 15 days from the early morning of October 11 for RCC road construction, Delhi Traffic Police has announced.

The closure covers the direction from the DJB Booster Pump to the DJB Red Light, near the booster pump opposite Omaxe Dwarka. Traffic police have prescribed a diversion via Road No. 210.

Which way to travel

Vehicles travelling from the Sector 19/20 Red Light towards Dhul Siras, Radha Soami Satsang Bhawan and Sector 21 will be diverted left onto the service road in front of the main gate of the DJB office, towards Road No. 210.

The advisory describes the closure period as approximately 15 days. It does not announce a fixed reopening date.

Allow extra travel time

Commuters have been asked to plan their journeys in advance and avoid the affected stretch wherever possible. Drivers should follow the prescribed diversion, traffic signs and directions from traffic personnel.

Police advised road users to allow extra travel time, particularly during peak hours, and cooperate with personnel managing traffic around the construction stretch.
