Delhi Police Launches Free Self-Defence Summer Camp 2026 for Women; Registrations Open

New Delhi: The Special Police Unit for Women and Children (SPUWAC) of Delhi Police is organizing its 22nd Summer Camp – 2026 aimed at equipping women with self-defence skills and enhancing safety awareness.

The training programme is completely free of cost and open to school and college students, working women, and homemakers.

The camp will be conducted from May 29 to June 11, 2026 (excluding Sundays), with daily sessions scheduled from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Registrations for the programme are open from May 4 to May 20, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM (except Sundays).

Training & Registration Centres

The camp will be held at multiple locations across Delhi, including:

  • Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School, Model Town
  • Saraswati Bal Mandir, A-2 Paschim Vihar (near Ashoka Apartments)
  • Government Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Dwarka Sector-2
  • Bal Bhavan Public School, Pocket-B, Mayur Vihar Phase-II

In addition to self-defence training, the camp will feature street plays on women empowerment and cyber awareness sessions, focusing on building confidence and preparedness among women.
