Two Youths Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Majlis Park Metro, Case Registered

New Delhi: Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Wazirabad-bound loop road near Majlis Park Metro Station in North Delhi on the night of April 26, 2026.

According to police, the incident occurred around 9:00 PM and involved a white motorcycle bearing registration number DL8SDG2517. A police team from Bhalswa Dairy station reached the spot promptly after receiving information and found the motorcycle abandoned near a drain.

Initial enquiries revealed that two injured individuals had already been shifted to Babu Jagjivan Ram (BJRM) Hospital by bystanders. However, upon arrival at the hospital, doctors declared both victims brought dead.

The deceased have been identified as:
Saf Ali (20), son of Idrish, a resident of Sangam Vihar, Burari, Delhi; and
Shahid, son of Mohammad Akhtar, a resident of E-1789, JJ Colony, Bawana, Delhi.

The bodies have been preserved at the BJRM Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case under Sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). As of now, no eyewitnesses have come forward either at the scene or at the hospital.

Further investigation has been handed over to the MACT Cell of the Outer North District for a detailed and expedited probe into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
