Tillu Tajpuria Gang Member Injured, Arrested After Police Encounter in Shahbad Dairy

New Delhi: A suspected member of the Tillu Tajpuria gang was injured and arrested following a police encounter near Barwala village under the Shahbad Dairy police station limits in Delhi.

According to the Delhi Police Special Cell, the आरोपी, identified as Robin, allegedly opened fire while attempting to flee. Police teams retaliated in self-defence, injuring him before taking him into custody.

Officials confirmed that the operation was part of an ongoing crackdown on organised crime networks in the capital. The accused is believed to be linked to the notorious Tillu Tajpuria gang, which has been involved in multiple criminal activities.

Police have launched further investigations to trace the wider network and identify other associates connected to the gang. The encounter has heightened security vigilance in the Shahbad Dairy–Barwala area.
