Fatal Confrontation: 18-Year-Old Killed in Knife Attack Over Music in Delhi

Date:

New Delhi: An 18-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being stabbed during a confrontation that reportedly stemmed from a dispute over music at a local event in northwest Delhi, police confirmed on Sunday.

The victim, identified as Bheem Sen, a resident of Badhola village, sustained serious injuries during the incident, which occurred on Saturday. A friend rushed him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries despite medical intervention, according to a police spokesperson.

Authorities revealed that the altercation began on Friday when Sen had a minor disagreement with a group of boys regarding the volume of music being played at the event. The following day, in what appears to be an act of retaliation, the same group attacked him with a knife.

“He suffered two stab wounds, and despite the best efforts of medical personnel, he could not be saved. An FIR has been filed at the Mahendra Park Police Station,” the officer stated.

In response to the incident, a crime scene investigation team and forensic experts were dispatched to gather evidence. The victim’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

During the investigation, four juveniles were apprehended; however, the weapon used in the attack has not yet been recovered. The officer added, “Efforts are ongoing to locate and seize the knife involved in this crime. Further investigations are underway to clarify the sequence of events and determine if additional individuals were implicated.”
