New Delhi: Gunshots echoed in the capital again as Rohit Yadav was shot dead in broad daylight at Karawal Nagar, East Delhi. According to police, the assailants fired three to four rounds at close range and fled the spot immediately. Yadav collapsed after being hit and died on the scene.

Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to track the attackers’ escape route. Initial suspicion points to old enmity or a possible gang-war link, police said, adding that arrests are likely soon.
