New Delhi: In line with the Government of India’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy against drugs, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Delhi Police Crime Branch has issued freezing orders against illegally acquired assets worth over ₹68 lakh in two major NDPS cases, targeting the proceeds of crime generated through narcotics trafficking.
Officials said the move is part of a broader strategy to hit drug syndicates financially, not only through arrests and seizures but also by identifying, attaching and freezing properties allegedly purchased using drug money.
In FIR No. 37/25, Delhi Police arrested the following accused:
- Deepak @ Langi, s/o Late Raj Kumar, r/o Mangolpuri, Delhi (08 previous cases including 01 NDPS case)
- Vikram @ Bunty, s/o Late Raj Kumar, r/o Punjabi Camp, Peera Garhi, Delhi (08 previous cases including 07 NDPS cases)
- Tushar, s/o Manjeet Singh, r/o Mahaveer Enclave Part-I, New Delhi (03 NDPS cases)
Police recovered 320 grams of heroin (258g + 62g) — a commercial quantity — in the case.
Financial investigation revealed the following assets allegedly acquired through drug proceeds:
- TVS Jupiter Scooty (DL-5S-AS-2436) — ₹60,000
- EcoSport Car (DL-8C-AV-8217) — ₹6,00,000
- Bank Balance ₹1,00,000 frozen in Kotak Mahindra Bank A/c No. 6212724147
Total value frozen (Case I): ₹7,60,000.
Freezing orders were issued on 22.12.2025 by Inspector Rakesh Duhan under the supervision of Satendra Mohan, ACP/ANTF (Crime Branch), Delhi. The bank-freeze order was later confirmed by the competent authority for the bank balance vide order dated 14.01.2026.
In FIR No. 64/2025, six accused were arrested with substantial recoveries of psychotropic substances. The accused details are as follows:
- Vikash, r/o Narela, Delhi — Arrested on 09.03.2025 with 6,720 capsules (336 grams); earlier recovery at his instance included 505 Alprazolam and 664 Tramadol capsules.
- Sudhir, r/o Gannaur, Sonipat — Arrested on 09.03.2025; recovery at his instance included 505 Alprazolam and 664 Tramadol capsules (One previous case).
- Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj @ Neetu, r/o Narela, Delhi — Arrested on 05.04.2025; at his instance police recovered 18,000 Tramadol tablets (1.8 kg) and 7,400 Nitrazepam tablets.
- Ajeet Kumar @ Jeetu, r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi — Arrested on 08.04.2025; recovery was effected from his residence.
- Amber Agrahari @ Pandey, r/o Gorakhpur, Delhi — Arrested on 13.04.2025.
- Vijay Goel, r/o Agra, Uttar Pradesh — Arrested on 20.08.2025 (05 previous cases including 04 NDPS cases).
Financial investigation revealed assets allegedly acquired through proceeds of narcotics trafficking, including:
- Shop No. G-32 & G-33, Aggarwal Shopping Plaza, Narela — ₹58,14,000
- Motorcycle (Splendor) DL-11-PJ-5986 — ₹70,000
- Cash ₹69,500 (recovered from Ajeet @ Jeetu)
- Cash ₹1,16,000 (recovered from Amber Agrahari @ Pandey)
Total value identified/frozen (Case II): ₹60,69,500.
Freezing orders were issued on 22.12.2025 by Inspector Rakesh Duhan under the supervision of Satendra Mohan, ACP/ANTF (Crime Branch), Delhi, and later confirmed by the competent authority vide order dated 14.01.2026.
By freezing assets linked to narcotics trafficking, Delhi Police said it aims to dismantle drug networks comprehensively by breaking their financial strength. The action is intended to serve as a deterrent and reinforce enforcement efforts toward a “Drug-Free Delhi.”
Further investigation is underway.
