New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police has warned of possible restrictions and diversions at 30 points across the Capital on Sunday, October 11, with measures to begin from 6 am depending on the prevailing law-and-order situation.
The advisory covers approaches to New Delhi and Central Delhi, including Connaught Place, Jantar Mantar, Mandi House, Dhaula Kuan and adjoining stretches. Commuters heading to railway stations, inter-state bus terminals or the airport have been asked to allow extra travel time.

Police listed the following points and surrounding stretches. Diversions will depend on conditions at the time:

Police urged commuters to avoid non-essential travel. The advisory makes clear that traffic-management measures will be dynamic: restrictions may be relaxed or regulated on the basis of real-time assessments on the ground.

The road advisory comes after DMRC reopened the entry and exit gates of all Delhi Metro stations and restored interchange access on Saturday night. The earlier security-related closure had affected 45 Metro stations.
