STEM Lab Opens at Janakpuri CM SHRI School, Class 9 Girls Receive Bicycles

New Delhi: A new STEM laboratory and bicycles for Class 9 girl students brought learning and mobility into focus at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar CM SHRI School in Janakpuri on Friday.

Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood said he inaugurated the laboratory and distributed bicycles under the Vidya Vahini scheme. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also attended the programme.

Learning opportunities and mobility

Sood said the initiative sought to give Delhi’s students greater opportunities to learn and explore, while supporting girl students through the bicycle distribution programme.

He said Dhawan joined the occasion to inspire the students. The minister linked the programme to the Delhi government’s efforts to expand opportunities for students under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
