NDMC Takes Eight Birth and Death Registration Services Online, Paperless

New Delhi: Residents in New Delhi Municipal Council areas can now apply online for eight birth and death registration services, including certificate corrections and child-name inclusion, under a fully paperless system announced by NDMC.

The council said applicants with the required documents can complete the application process from home, reducing unnecessary visits for essential civic services.

  • Home birth registration
  • Home death registration
  • Inclusion of a child’s name in a birth certificate
  • Correction in a birth certificate
  • Correction in a death certificate
  • Delayed birth order
  • Delayed death order
  • Birth certificate based on an adoption deed

Where to apply

Citizens can log in or register through NDMC’s online services portal. The council has listed helpline 1533 for applicants who need assistance.

NDMC said the shift is intended to save residents time and effort while making municipal services more accessible.
