Delhi Police Cracks Rs 19.5 Lakh Robbery, Arrests Five After Manali Trail

New Delhi: Delhi Police’s North District team has arrested five accused in a Rs 19.50 lakh robbery case in which the victim was allegedly stopped on the pretext of a scooter collision and robbed of a bag containing cash.

In a statement on X, Delhi Police said the accused stopped the victim first near the GPO and then on Rani Jhansi Flyover, assaulted him and took the bag.

Four accused intercepted while returning from Manali

The police team used technical surveillance to trace the suspects, according to the statement. Four accused were apprehended while returning from Manali to Delhi.

A fifth accused was taken into custody on the basis of their interrogation, police said.

Rs 9.90 lakh and iPhone 17 Pro recovered

Police said Rs 9.90 lakh of the stolen cash had been recovered. An iPhone 17 Pro allegedly purchased using the robbery proceeds was also recovered.
