New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police recovered a stolen scooter after its rider allegedly abandoned the vehicle and fled when asked to produce its documents during a checking operation.
According to police, the traffic team stopped the suspicious scooter rider and asked him to show the vehicle documents. The rider allegedly left the scooter at the location and escaped, apparently fearing apprehension.
“Upon verification, it was confirmed that the scooter left at the spot was registered in a theft case,” Delhi Traffic Police said in a post on X.
