New Delhi: Nearly eight lakh registrations have been recorded under the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana in 18 days, with eligible women set to begin receiving official approval letters on August 26 at Talkatora Stadium, according to information shared about the scheme.
The development was described as reflecting strong participation in the scheme, which is being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The initiative has also been linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of women-led development.
August 26 will mark the start of the distribution of official approval letters to eligible women at Talkatora Stadium.
