Crime Branch Arrests Jyoti Baba Gang Member Wanted in Delhi Murder Case, Illegal Pistol Recovered

New Delhi: The Northern Range-I unit of Delhi Crime Branch has arrested an alleged member of the notorious Jyoti Baba Gang who was wanted in a murder case registered at Hari Nagar police station.

The accused had reportedly jumped interim bail, following which a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) was issued against him.

During the operation, Crime Branch officials recovered a semi-automatic Bretta pistol along with two live cartridges from the accused’s possession.

According to police, the arrested gang member has a long criminal background and is allegedly involved in several serious offences, including murder, robbery, assault, and multiple Arms Act cases.

The operation was carried out by a team led by Inspector Pankaj Thakran under the supervision of ACP Ashok Sharma and overall guidance of DCP Shri Pankaj Kumar.

Police said further investigation is underway to ascertain the accused’s involvement in other criminal activities and possible gang operations in Delhi and nearby areas.
