Delhi LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu Hands Over Appointment Letters to 1,647 Newly Recruited DDA Employees

New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu presided over the Niyukti Samaroh organised by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and handed over appointment letters to 1,647 newly recruited employees, reaffirming the administration’s focus on transparent and merit-based recruitment.

Addressing the newly inducted employees, the Lieutenant Governor said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to building an efficient and accountable workforce for the national capital.

Highlighting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India by 2047, Sandhu said the newly appointed employees would play a significant role during the country’s “Amrit Kaal” in advancing the mission of Viksit Bharat and strengthening governance systems.

He urged the recruits to work with empathy, integrity and dedication while serving the public, stating that their role would be crucial in enhancing institutional credibility and delivering citizen-centric administration.

The LG also said that a committed and efficient workforce would contribute significantly towards building a modern and developed Delhi under the broader vision of Viksit Delhi.

The appointment ceremony witnessed the participation of senior DDA officials and newly recruited employees from various departments.
