AAP Committed Massive Fraud in ‘Jai Bhim’ Coaching Scheme: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Demands Accountability

Date:

New Delhi, July 16: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of orchestrating a large-scale scam under the “Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana”, a scheme meant to provide coaching to underprivileged Dalit students.

In a post on social media platform X, Gupta alleged that despite an official budget of just ₹15 crore for the scheme in 2021-22, the AAP government pushed through fake bills amounting to ₹145 crore.

“The Aam Aadmi Party grabbed power using Dalits’ name and then looted the future of Dalit children. This is a betrayal of Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s ideals and a shameful misuse of the sacred domain of education,” CM Gupta wrote.

She further revealed that coaching claims were submitted without documents or signatures, and several institutions had 100% fake enrollment records. Gupta called it a deep-rooted fraud committed in the name of social upliftment.

The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has been tasked with probing the financial irregularities, and the Chief Minister vowed that “the truth will come out, and those responsible will be held accountable.”
