New Delhi: Following the successful completion of her first 100 days in office, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday took a sacred dip in the Ganges River at the revered Har Ki Pauri.

She is on a brief two-day trip to Uttarakhand from Sunday, accompanied by her family, according to sources. She also plans to inaugurate a dharamshala in Haridwar and participate in the evening Ganga aarti in Rishikesh, a spiritual ceremony that attracts many devotees.

On Monday, the Chief Minister is expected to visit the holy site of Kedarnath, further enriching her pilgrimage experience.

Gupta’s administration, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), marked its 100th day in power on Friday. The BJP secured victory in the Assembly elections held in February, establishing governance in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus.

Rekha Gupta was sworn in as Chief Minister, along with her cabinet ministers, on February 20 during a ceremony at Ramleela Maidan.
