Delhi | Shocking Attack: Unidentified Assailant Stabs ASI in Adarsh Nagar

NEW DELHI: A shocking incident occurred in Delhi when an unidentified miscreant stabbed an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the stomach during a fight. The injured ASI, identified as Prem Pal and posted in the PCR of the North East District, has been hospitalized for treatment.

The incident took place in the Adarsh Nagar area on Friday evening, where the assailant fled the scene after the attack. Prem Pal, who was near his residence in Azadpur village at the time, managed to alert the police about the incident himself.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter and have registered a case of attempted murder based on the information provided. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the culprit.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhishm Singh from the North West District stated that the victim ASI has not yet provided a statement, making it difficult to determine the cause of the altercation. The police are working diligently to apprehend the suspect responsible for this heinous act.
