Saurabh Bharadwaj Takes Reins as Delhi AAP Chief Amid Leadership Shuffle

NEW DELHI: Saurabh Bharadwaj has been appointed as the new chief of the Delhi unit of the Aam Aadmi Party, following the party’s loss in the recent Assembly elections. Additionally, senior leader Manish Sisodia will now be heading the party’s operations in Punjab.

These decisions were made during a meeting of the AAP’s political affairs committee (PAC) at the residence of party leader Arvind Kejriwal. Gopal Rai, who previously held the position, will now be in charge of Gujarat as the party aims to expand its presence there.

Furthermore, Sandeep Pathak, a Rajya Sabha MP, has been appointed as the in-charge of the AAP’s Chhattisgarh unit, while Pankaj Gupta will lead the party’s efforts in Goa. Mehraj Malik has been named as the new chief of the party’s Jammu and Kashmir unit.
