Delhi’s Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa Lashes Out at AAP Over Delhi’s Waste Management Woes

NEW DELHI: Delhi’s Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, along with MCD Commissioner Ashwini Kumar and other officials, recently gathered to address the urgent issue of waste management in the Khayala and Rajouri Garden area. Sirsa emphasized the need for immediate action to combat the ongoing waste problems affecting various parts of the city. He highlighted the government’s dedication to resolving these issues through active collaboration with different departments to improve Delhi’s overall infrastructure.

Sirsa expressed deep concerns about the previous administration’s neglect of waste management, which has led to a worsening situation. He assured the public that all departments would work diligently to create a cleaner and more organized environment in the city.

Furthermore, Sirsa criticized the Aam Aadmi Party for allowing Delhi to become a breeding ground for diseases and stressed the importance of restoring the city’s cleanliness. He highlighted the ongoing efforts of officials to address these challenges and urged the media to bring attention to the obstacles faced by the current administration.

MCD Commissioner Ashwini Kumar recognized the immediate need for action in waste management. He identified systemic issues that have hindered effective waste removal and outlined comprehensive plans to address them. Despite the challenges, Kumar guaranteed that existing resources and contractors would be used efficiently to improve waste disposal practices citywide.

Councilor Sunil Kumar Chaddha of Chaukhandi Nagar emphasized that the primary concern in the area was the excessive accumulation of garbage. During the recent election campaign, Sirsa Ji had highlighted the importance of enhancing the beauty of our entrances, which prompted the initiative to address the issue of the unsightly garbage mountains. As a result, efforts are currently underway to clear away the accumulated waste.

Chaddha further disclosed that Cabinet Minister Manjendra Singh Sirsa, accompanied by Commissioner Ashwini Kumar, conducted a visit to Khayala today. The visit revealed numerous challenges in the area, including the presence of garbage piles, encroachments, and other related issues. The Commissioner has assured prompt action to be taken to address these pressing concerns.
