Delhi’s War on Pollution: Minister Announces Implementation of Targeted Interventions

Experts highlighted the urgency of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in public transportation and phasing out old, polluting vehicles from the city's roads. They also proposed expanding the Delhi Metro network to ensure convenient access to metro stations within 400 meters of every citizen's residence. Delhi Extends Excise Policy for Three More Months

In a circular issued by the Excise Department, it was stated that the validity of existing L-1/L-1F/L-2 licensees for the sale of registered liquor brands will be extended until June 30, 2025, at their current prices. L-1, L-1F, and L-2 licenses are for wholesale sales of Indian liquor, foreign liquor, and beer, respectively.
