Rajouri Garden Will Not Tolerate Encroachments or Illegal Activities, Says Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa

New Delhi, June 2: Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said that maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised environment in Rajouri Garden remains his top priority, asserting that encroachments, illegal activities and civic disorder will not be tolerated in the constituency.

Sharing details of a review meeting on X, Sirsa said he held discussions with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner, local councillors and concerned officials to assess ongoing development works and civic issues in the area.

Describing the residents of Rajouri Garden as his family, the minister said his primary objective is to ensure that people living in the constituency enjoy a clean, secure and well-maintained environment.

During the meeting, officials were directed to intensify efforts to remove encroachments, improve sanitation standards and take immediate action against all forms of illegal activities and unauthorized businesses operating in the area.

Sirsa said he had clearly instructed authorities that any form of disorder, unhygienic conditions or unlawful activity in Rajouri Garden would not be accepted.

The minister emphasized the need for coordinated action among various government departments to address civic challenges and improve the quality of life for residents.

He stated that the government is committed to ensuring that Rajouri Garden continues to be recognised as one of Delhi’s cleanest, most organised and most livable neighbourhoods.

According to Sirsa, all concerned agencies will work together to strengthen civic infrastructure, improve public services and maintain law and order in the area.

Reaffirming his commitment to public service, the minister said he remains fully dedicated to addressing the concerns of residents and ensuring sustained development across Rajouri Garden.

The review meeting forms part of the Delhi Government’s ongoing efforts to improve urban governance, civic amenities and public welfare across the national capital.
