PanIIT Alumni India Elects Prabhat Kumar as Chairman for 2025–2027 Term

New executive committee to steer global IIT alumni collaboration, innovation, and impact

New Delhi: In a key development for the global IIT alumni community, PanIIT Alumni India has elected Shri Prabhat Kumar, IRS (IIT Delhi), as its new Chairman for the 2025–2027 term. Kumar currently serves as Principal Additional Director General at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN).

The new executive team also includes Ashish Kela (IIT Bombay) as Treasurer, Ashok Kumar (IIT ISM Dhanbad) continuing as General Secretary, and Anurag Goel (IIT Kanpur) retaining the post of Vice Chairman.

Representing over 300,000 alumni from India’s premier engineering institutions, PanIIT Alumni India connects IIT graduates across the globe. The newly elected leadership is expected to drive alumni engagement, catalyze national development efforts, and elevate India’s global standing through collaborative impact.
