65 Helmet Challans, 23 Free Helmets: Delhi Police Pair Enforcement With Road-Safety Outreach

NEW DELHI: Delhi Traffic Police combined penalties for riding without helmets with free helmet distribution and student outreach during a special road-safety drive in its Northern and Eastern ranges.

The police said 65 challans were issued for helmet violations and 23 helmets were distributed free. About 150 students were made aware of road-safety practices.

Action over fake no-entry permission

The update also reported legal action in a case involving fake “No Entry Permission”.

The drive brought together enforcement and awareness, with the police separately reporting helmet challans, free distribution and student participation.
