Delhi Traffic Advisory: 30 Diversion Points Listed for October 10

New Delhi: Commuters travelling through New Delhi and Central Delhi on October 10 should allow extra time, with Delhi Traffic Police listing 30 locations where diversions may be imposed from 6 am depending on the law-and-order situation.

The advisory says traffic arrangements will remain dynamic and may be relaxed or regulated following real-time assessment. Travellers heading to railway stations, ISBTs or the airport have been advised to plan ahead and avoid non-essential journeys through the affected areas.

Where traffic may be affected

The listed locations include Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Shankar Road–Vande Mataram T-point, Jhandewalan, Panchkuian Road, Mandi House, W-Point, A-Point, Minto Road–Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, Guru Nanak Chowk and the Chelmsford Road–Connaught Place Outer Circle junction.

Other points include Bhairon Road–Ring Road, Lodhi Road Flyover, Neela Gumbad, Madarsa T-point, Samrat Hotel, Sardar Patel Marg–Panchsheel Marg, the stretches beneath Bhikaji Cama Place and Moti Bagh Flyover, and Ring Road–San Martin Marg.

Within the central area, the advisory covers Ashoka Road–Jantar Mantar Road, Windsor Place, Tolstoy Marg–Janpath, Rail Bhawan, Jai Singh Road–Sansad Marg, Connaught Place Outer Circle junctions with Barakhamba Road and Sansad Marg, Gol Dak Khana, Patel Chowk, Jai Singh Road–Ashoka Road and RML Hospital.
