Shaheen Bagh: Massive Fire Engulfs Shoe Showroom

NEW DELHI: A massive fire broke out suddenly in a well-known shoe showroom in the Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi on Saturday, sparking panic among residents. The fire quickly engulfed Batas showroom on Shaheen Bagh Main Road, prompting a rapid response from the fire department.

The fire was first reported at 11:17 am on Saturday, leading to the dispatch of multiple fire engines to the scene. Firefighters have been working tirelessly to combat the blaze for the past two hours, with over 10 vehicles deployed to contain the fire. In addition, a large hydraulic crane has been brought in to help extinguish the fire in the upper levels of the building.

Officials estimate that the fire has caused significant financial losses, potentially amounting to lakhs of rupees. There have been no reports of casualties so far. While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, initial investigations suggest that a short circuit may have been the trigger.
