New Delhi: In a major crackdown on narcotics, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has busted an organized drug supply module operating in South Delhi and arrested two accused involved in the illegal trade.
According to officials, the arrested individuals include both the supplier and the carrier, who were actively engaged in distributing narcotic substances in the region.
During the operation, police recovered 19.15 grams of MDMA, categorized as a commercial quantity, along with 29 ecstasy pills and MDMA crystals. A Wagon-R car used for transporting and supplying the drugs was also seized.
The operation was carried out by a team led by Inspector Vinay Kumar under the leadership of ACP Satendra Mohan and under the overall supervision of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
Delhi Police reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against narcotics and stated that strict action will continue against drug networks operating in the city.
