New Delhi: In a significant relief for property owners in the capital, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has extended the deadline for availing a 10% rebate on property tax payments till July 31, 2025. The decision was taken during the latest meeting of the MCD’s Standing Committee.
Announcing the move, Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma said, “This extension has been made keeping in mind the convenience of Delhi residents. The rebate window was initially set to close earlier but will now remain open till the end of July to allow more citizens to benefit.”

The decision aims to boost compliance while easing the financial burden on property owners amid ongoing economic challenges. Property owners are encouraged to pay their dues within the revised deadline to avail the discount.
