New Delhi: The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) said it issued notices to 10 households at BKS Marg after they were found handing over unsegregated waste during an awareness drive on Thursday.
The council is targeting four residential colonies for declaration as Anupam Colonies by December 10, 2026: the Central Government Employees’ Residential Complex, Blocks 1–9, at BKS Marg; West Kidwai Nagar; Sarojini Vihar; and Chanakya Rail Enclave in Chanakyapuri.
NDMC four-way waste segregation drive
NDMC said the initiative promotes four-way waste segregation and decentralised processing of wet and horticulture waste. It also includes 3R Centres and Neki Ki Diwaar, with participation by resident welfare associations and the community.
