Ayodhya: Devotees visiting Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir from November 1 will need to plan for a 10 pm closing time, half an hour earlier than at present. Public darshan will begin at 7 am, while the sanctum doors will open at 4 am for the morning rituals.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has revised the daily Seva and Darshan schedule for the changing season. The new timetable takes effect on Sunday, November 1, 2026, and includes a longer midday rest period, with darshan resuming at 1:35 pm.

What changes at Ram Mandir from November 1?
According to the trust’s October 25 release, shared on October 26, the sanctum currently opens at 3:45 am and closes at 10:30 pm. Under the revised arrangement, it will open 15 minutes later and close 30 minutes earlier.

Opening time is earlier than public darshan
The 4 am opening is for the daily rituals; it does not mean public darshan begins then. The trust specifies 7 am for the start of devotees’ darshan. There will also be closures for offerings and rituals during the day, so the period between opening and closing is not an uninterrupted darshan window.
Chief priest Acharya Keshav outlined the revised sequence in the release. After the midday rest and the prescribed Seva, including the priests’ entry and Alp Bhog, darshan will resume at 1:35 pm.
