Delhi: CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke was placed under preventive detention as he left the residence of NCP-SCP spokesperson Anish Gawande, with a police official citing Section 163 being in force in Connaught Place.
CJP had called for a ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest at Central Park in Connaught Place the same day.
“We are placing you under preventive detention. Section 163 is in force in Connaught Place. You are being detained,” the police official told Dipke as he was leaving Gawande’s residence.
