NEW DELHI: Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has arrested an accused wanted since 2002 in a murder case registered at Okhla Industrial Area police station, the Crime Branch said in a post on X.

The accused was traced to a readymade garment factory at IMT Manesar in Gurugram, Haryana, and arrested, according to the Crime Branch. Police described the arrest as the culmination of a 24-year search.
The Crime Branch said its team conducted around 30 raids and made multiple visits to Bihar. Sustained field work and a detailed examination of old records helped investigators develop a crucial lead, it said.
The operation was carried out under ACP Satender Mohan and the supervision of DCP Harsh Indora, according to the post.
