Chandni Chowk Town Hall Set for Global Heritage Centre Makeover Under Delhi Tourism–MCD Pact

New Delhi: Delhi Tourism and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi have signed an MoU to redevelop Chandni Chowk’s historic Town Hall as a Global Heritage Centre.

The Delhi Chief Minister’s Office said the plan would preserve the building’s historic identity while creating a museum, cultural activities and modern tourism facilities. The proposed centre is intended to present Old Delhi’s history, culture and heritage within one complex.
