New Delhi: North-East Delhi Police have arrested a court-declared proclaimed offender and produced the accused before a court, which remanded the person to judicial custody.
The North-East District Police disclosed the arrest through a post on its official X account.
According to police, personnel from Harsh Vihar police station and the district’s Anti-Narcotics Task Force traced and apprehended the accused.
Police said the person had previously been declared a proclaimed offender by a court.
After the arrest, the accused was produced before the court and sent to judicial custody, according to the X post.
Police did not disclose the accused’s identity, the case in which the person was declared a proclaimed offender, the applicable charges or the place from which the arrest was made.
