New Delhi: Delhi Police’s Adarsh Nagar police station team arrested two accused in connection with the Lal Bagh murder case following a 550-km interstate manhunt, the force said in a post on X.
According to Delhi Police, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Joint Commissioner of Police, Northern Range, Vijay Singh and North West district DCP Akanksha Yadav.
Police said the two accused were traced using human intelligence and technical surveillance and apprehended near Chappar Toll Naka in Uttarakhand while they were travelling in a rented car.
One of the accused was also wanted in another murder case registered at Jahangir Puri police station, according to the police statement.
Police recovered the rented car and three mobile phones following the arrests.
