New Delhi, July 21: The Delhi government has constituted District Level Coordination Committees across all 13 districts of the national capital to strengthen inter-departmental coordination and ensure a faster response to waterlogging during the monsoon.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the committees have been formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. They will monitor monsoon preparedness, vulnerable locations, drain maintenance and emergency response measures to enable timely action on the ground.
The CMO said the initiative is aimed at improving coordination among departments to ensure quicker resolution of waterlogging issues, smoother traffic movement during the monsoon and uninterrupted delivery of essential civic services across Delhi.
