New Delhi, July 3: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched the Delhi EV Subsidy Portal to simplify the process of availing subsidies and incentives under the Capital’s new Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy.
Sharing the announcement on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said the newly launched portal—evsubsidy.delhi.gov.in—will enable Delhi residents to apply online for EV subsidies and other incentives from the comfort of their homes.
According to the Chief Minister, applicants will be able to submit applications online, track their application status in real time and receive subsidy payments directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system after successful verification.
The Delhi Government said the incentive amount will be credited within a maximum of 60 days after the verification process is completed.
The portal has been introduced as part of the government’s efforts to make the subsidy disbursement process more transparent, efficient and citizen-friendly while promoting the adoption of electric vehicles across the national capital.
Rekha Gupta urged residents to embrace electric mobility and contribute towards building a cleaner, greener and pollution-free Delhi.
The launch event was attended by Cabinet Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh along with senior government officials.
