DUSU Employee Sahil Murdered in Delhi’s Model Town, Police Detain Suspects for Questioning

New Delhi, June 1: A 25-year-old man identified as Sahil, who was employed with the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU), was allegedly stabbed to death in Delhi’s Model Town area, police said.

According to preliminary information, the attackers repeatedly targeted Sahil’s neck with a knife before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and collapsed on the spot following the assault.

Police teams rushed to the location after receiving information about the incident and launched an investigation. A knife believed to have been used in the murder has been recovered from an area near the crime scene.

Officials said several suspects have been detained and are currently being questioned in connection with the case. Investigators are examining the sequence of events leading up to the attack and trying to establish the motive behind the murder.

The victim was identified as Sahil, aged 25, who was associated with DUSU. His body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime scene.

The shocking killing has once again raised concerns over law and order in the national capital, with the brutal nature of the attack drawing attention from local residents and political circles.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas and questioning witnesses to identify all those involved in the crime. Further details regarding the motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.

Senior police officers are monitoring the probe, and additional teams have been deployed to trace the attackers who remain under investigation.
