New Delhi, May 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday officially appointed Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra as the President of the BJP Delhi unit.
The appointment was announced through an official organisational order issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh.
According to the order, BJP National President Nitin Nabin approved the appointment of Harsh Malhotra as the Delhi Pradesh President of the party with immediate effect.

Harsh Malhotra is currently serving as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He is also the Member of Parliament from East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.
Before entering Parliament, Malhotra served as Mayor of the erstwhile East Delhi Municipal Corporation and has remained an influential organisational leader within the Delhi BJP.
The appointment comes at a crucial time for the BJP’s Delhi unit as the party intensifies preparations for upcoming organisational and electoral activities in the national capital.
