New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced that her cabinet colleague, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, has been appointed as the Minister-in-Charge for East Delhi Parliamentary Constituency to ensure better administrative coordination with the Delhi Government.
The Chief Minister chaired a review meeting on the progress of development works in East Delhi, which was also attended by East Delhi MP and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, along with elected representatives and senior officials.
During the meeting, officials were given clear instructions to accelerate work in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure, while also ensuring stronger coordination with public representatives.

CM Rekha Gupta also highlighted that the Delhi Government is celebrating “Seva Pakhwada” from September 17 to October 2 to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate 10 key schemes in Delhi and a mega blood donation camp will also be organized.
Reiterating her government’s commitment to inclusive governance, CM Gupta said, “With the support of MPs, MLAs, councillors, and all public representatives, we will ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach every citizen.”
The meeting witnessed the participation of MLAs, councillors, and senior officials from various departments.
