Ghaziapur Horror: Man Sets Father-in-Law on Fire, Victim Dies During Treatment

New Delhi: A shocking incident has been reported from Ghaziapur’s Rajveer Colony, where a 30-year-old man set his father-in-law ablaze by pouring petrol on him.

According to police, the victim, 55-year-old Ranveer, was doused in petrol and set on fire by his son-in-law Sandeep. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Ranveer succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The accused Sandeep has been arrested and sent to jail. Investigations revealed that Sandeep was an alcoholic and often harassed his wife. Family members stated that the father-in-law had repeatedly tried to counsel him, but Sandeep ignored all advice.

Shockingly, the heinous act took place on the day of Krishna Janmashtami, adding to the family’s grief. Police confirmed that Sandeep will face strict action under relevant sections of law for this murder case in Ghaziapur.
