New Delhi: In a violent altercation that unfolded on Tuesday in the Arjun Camp locality of Vasant Kunj South, Delhi, a 24-year-old man identified as Sunny succumbed to fatal stab wounds allegedly inflicted by three brothers, the police reported.
According to senior officials from the Delhi Police, the incident was reported via a PCR call to the Vasant Kunj North police station. The information conveyed that the victim had been transported to Spinal Hospital, where he was declared brought dead by attending medical staff.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the three accused—identified as Ravi, Rahul, and Raj Kumar—were involved in a physical confrontation with the victim. During the scuffle, it is alleged that Rahul and Raj Kumar restrained Sunny by holding his hands, while Ravi repeatedly stabbed him with a knife.
Law enforcement officers responding to the incident have initiated a criminal case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. While confirming that the accused are absconding, officials stated that multiple teams have been deployed to apprehend the suspects.
Further forensic and witness-based investigation is ongoing to verify all aspects of the event and determine the underlying motive. Authorities have confirmed that appropriate legal proceedings are being undertaken in accordance with the findings.
