Deadly Clashes Erupt in Delhi’s Bharat Nagar Over Children’s Game

Date:

NEW DELHI: A violent clash recently erupted between two communities in Bharat Nagar, Delhi, resulting in the tragic death of a Hindu man during a minor dispute. Additionally, six individuals sustained injuries during the altercation. The local police have promptly registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.

The unfortunate incident that led to the demise of 65-year-old Radheshyam in Block E of JJ Colony in the Bharat Nagar police station area stemmed from a dispute among children during a game. The altercation, which began innocently enough among the children, quickly escalated into a violent confrontation involving stone-pelting and knife attacks. Tragically, Chhotu, a 23-year-old individual, fatally stabbed Radheshyam during the chaos.

DCP Bhisham Singh has clarified that the incident appears to be a result of a dispute between children and neighbors, dispelling any rumors of communal tensions or malicious intent from either party. In response, the police have taken several individuals into custody from both sides as part of their ongoing investigation into the case.
