New Delhi: Nangloi–Najafgarh Road will remain closed to vehicles on both carriageways between Nangloi Chowk and Bakkarwala Cut throughout the day and night on 3 November, Delhi Traffic Police said in an advisory.
The closure is due to ongoing strengthening and restoration work by the Public Works Department (PWD) and pipeline laying by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). Commuters have been asked to avoid the stretch, plan their journeys and allow extra travel time.
Nangloi–Najafgarh Road diversions via UER-2
Motorists heading towards Nangloi from Najafgarh should turn at Bakkarwala Mor and take UER-2 to Rohtak Road, then continue to Nangloi Chowk.
Those travelling towards Najafgarh from Nangloi Chowk should take Rohtak Road towards Mundka, then UER-2 to Bakkarwala Mor, and rejoin Nangloi–Najafgarh Road.
Instructions for motorists
Police asked road users to follow the diversions, traffic signs and directions of personnel on duty, avoid roadside parking and keep the roads clear for emergency vehicles.
