Delhi Congress Chief Hosts Meeting to Develop Strategy for Strengthening the Party

Date:

New Delhi: Devender Yadav, the President of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, convened a meeting on Tuesday with district and Lok Sabha observers to formulate a strategic roadmap aimed at bolstering the party’s grassroots organization.

As part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan initiative, the meeting also assessed the progress made over the past month, according to an official statement.

Attendees included district and Block Congress Committee presidents, as well as district and Lok Sabha observers. Notable participants were AICC in-charge of Delhi Qazi Nizamuddin, former ministers Krishna Tirath, Narendra Nath, Mangat Ram Singhal, and Rajendra Pal Gautam, among others.

Yadav emphasized the urgent need to establish Mandalam and sector committees in every block, along with executive committees in each district. He stressed that these steps are crucial for revitalizing organizational activities across the capital without further delay.

In his remarks, Yadav criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), asserting that it has failed to fulfill its role as the opposition in Delhi.

In a related development, several AAP workers and leaders from the Rohtas Nagar Assembly, including former councillor Advocate Anil Gautham, joined the Delhi Congress during the meeting. Yadav welcomed them by draping them in party scarves, symbolizing their new affiliation.
